~Make sure you’re getting enough sleep for what your mind and body need to feel rested and at ease.
~De-clutter your living or work space to help quiet your mind and your body.
~Keep a daily gratitude journal.
~Make sure you’re eating foods that are kind to your body and provide you with the nutrition and energy you need for your life.
~Create a vision board to create excitement about your present and your future.
~Spend some time just relaxing without any external stimulation (ex. devices, phone, computer, etc.) or distractions. (I swear by meditation and mindfulness practices!)
~If you feel the need to worry, give yourself a time limit and then move on to more productive activities.
~Take time to plan your days ahead.
~Spend a few minutes visualizing how you would like to handle your situation in a way that is anxiety-free.
~Smell something that is relaxing to you to engage your olfactory senses, which can quickly reduce your anxiety.
