15 Creative Ways to Express Gratitude (Part 3 of 3)
When we’re not used to it, making room in our schedules for actively expressing gratitude for what we have in our lives can feel daunting, unnecessary or simply a waste of our time. With a little practice, though, these actions can make a tremendous, positive difference in our day-to-day lives as well as become some of our most favorite and treasured activities we look forward to each day or week. 5 Final Creative Ways to Express Gratitude
1) Make a friend or family member a nice, delicious meal to share.
2) Play with a litter of puppies (or kittens).
3) Get some friends together whom you think will enjoy each other’s company.
4) Take a friend whale watching or snorkeling.
5) Get some friends together to make sandwiches and deliver them to a homeless shelter in your local area.
Purposefully setting time aside in our otherwise busy and packed schedules to spend time with people we love or activities we enjoy that can also benefit others and is a great way to stay connected to those things in our lives for which we feel most grateful. And, it brings with it the added bonus of creating a whole new layer and level of fun in our often-too-serious lives!
